In the book, As a Man Thinketh, James Allen states that the body is the servant of the mind. This means that your thoughts create your body. If your thoughts have created the body you now have, then it follows that your thoughts can create the body you would like to have. You can actually think your way to your ideal body weight. Every cell in your body is affected by your thoughts. More and more scientists agree that we create our physical condition through our thoughts, which means that you can think yourself thin or think yourself fat. Here's a bold statement its not food that makes you fat or thin its your thoughts. The body conforms to the expectations, attitudes, and beliefs of the mind. This applies to all physical conditions including health, appearance and weight. Your body creates in accordance with the instructions it receives from you mind. So, as you begin to tell your body what you expect from it, your body will begin to behave accordingly. When you consciously choose your thoughts, you can consciously choose your body. So how do you choose your thoughts? Choose Your Thoughts with Affirmations. The best way to choose your thoughts is with Affirmations. Although you may not completely believe them when you first start saying them, repetition of affirmations leads to belief. And belief leads to physical manifestation. In the song, the pop group didn't paint a good picture of Barbie, portraying Barbie as a real person with low morals and a superficial personality. This less than positive view of Barbie and Barbie dolls came to fore after special interest groups decided to tackle the seeming physical figure of Barbie that they claimed caused the little girls that idolized the image of Barbie to have a false self image. A Barbie girl was portrayed to have the perfect face, figure, clothes and accessories. Barbie girl accessories did not only include items like shoes and bags but extended to items like fur, furniture and even a car and a Malibu House. Perhaps they were right about the image of a Barbie girl having adverse effects on children. Barbie has been a hit since it was launched in 1959 and has enslaved children and adult alike with her charm. Perhaps, not a single consumer exists without being aware of who or what a Barbie girl is, even though it has been over 50 years since the first Barbie was produced. Now the issue of body image and unbridled consumerism continue to plague our society. It no longer is a moral issue but has become a pressing matter that has an immediate effect on health and the environment. However, perhaps it was short sighted for interest groups to blame the Barbie girl and her manufacturers. After all, perhaps Barbie and her image and persona were a symptom of the underlying human faults rather than the cause. Whatever the case, the popularity and success of the Barbie girl image have surpassed any other toy ever invented. More than dolls, the Barbie girl image has branched out into other areas like actual fashion for girls. It is like the Barbie girl image was too much to be contained and has spread on to areas like printed materials in the form of books, movies, games and life sized accessories like notebooks and such. Despite other dolls coming into the scene and competing for the attention of girls, the brand of Barbie still caries clout and her image continue to be something that people aspire to. Whether that is a good or bad thing is something now that is beside the point. After all, even if all Barbie girl items were recalled and no new Barbie items were produced, the image of the Barbie girl has permeated several generations already and it will take some time for the image to be forgotten if that is possible. High susceptibility to disease and less fragrant smell, when compared to other types of roses, is often attributed to the great deal of inbreeding that has taken place to achieve the attractiveness of long stem roses. Keep your long stem roses growing tall When planting your long stem roses, be sure to select an area where they will get 6 hours of sunlight and good air circulation. Do hard pruning in the late winter or early spring just as new growth begins. By Crid Lee Recently, I have conducted a research by speaking to my female friends who are single. I asked them why they are staying single. At first, I thought that they are short of suitors. But they told me that this is not the main reason. They have the looks and statues, and have queues of guys waiting to hook up with them. The main reason to remain single at least until they reach their thirties, is that they want to keep their options open. They want to stay in the game as long as possible. They know that in their twenties, they have all the time in the world to play the game. So why rush into getting into a serious relationship so soon? That is why they will tend to play hard to get with men in the courtship game. Of course not all women are like that. I have female friends in their twenties who are in serious relationship and see themselves marrying the guys they are with now. But in reality, there are women out there who just are not ready to get out of the game. So my advice to you guys out there is to find out what your girl really wants before you get into a relationship with them, if not you will set yourself up for disappointments and hurting memories. Ironically, women who stay in the game too long tend to be not able to get out of the game, especially after thirties. I have female friends telling me Oh no, I am reaching my thirties, and after that, my value will drop! I must definitely get married before that happens! Starting each day with milk and cereal may be the success for achieving a healthy weight. Many people don't realize to eat breakfast but to skip entire morning tastes, either because youre in rush or lazy, or just want to reduce weight. Considerable number of people finish with a soft drink or a cup of coffee as their morning meal. Chances are this is going to have an opposite effect on you because skipping meals almost always leads to overeating at lunchtime. This is especially true with breakfast, because you've just been asleep for 7 or 8 hours and your body needs to recover from this brief period of starvation. Studies show that people who regularly eat breakfast, particularly cereal with low fat or fat-free milk, tend to be leaner compared to those who skip the morning meal or eat other options. Also, breakfast eaters are more likely to have long-term success in maintaining a reasonable weight. There is a finding that a cereal and milk breakfast is a habit common to successful weight loss maintainers. Junji Takano is a Japanese health researcher and has been studying the causes of viruses since 1960s. In 1968, he invented Pyro-Energen, the first electrotherapy device that eradicates viral diseases in a non-narcotic way.
